Haunted Gatlinburg, Tennessee

Welcome!

I'd like to show you a couple of paranormal pictures I took in Gatlinburg, Tennessee while we were visiting there a few weeks ago. (On Sunday, November 7, 2021, I wrote about our Gatlinburg visit on my other blog, https://theartofpositiveliving.blogspot.com. The post was entitled, "A Fun Trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee.")

Here are the two paranormal photographs that I took:

I took these pictures only moments apart. Although they are very similar, notice how different the orbs and ectoplasm are in the two photographs.

I've seen this phenomenon before, orbs, etc. around statues, dolls, mannequins, and other representations of human beings and even animals. Some spirits seem to want to attach to a body similar to what they used to have when they were living.

Knowing this, later in life, I got rid of some really nice dolls that I had when I was growing up. I certainly didn't want to take the chance of having dolls that were haunted especially since I tend to attract spirits! Maybe this was extreme, but we all have to do what we think is right for us.

Moving Orbs!

 Welcome!

This "Spirit Photographs" blog post is quite unusual in that I'm featuring for the first time a paranormal video that someone sent me.

A few weeks ago, I found a message on my phone. The message wasn't very clear, so I didn't quite know what to expect when I returned the call. It was from a longtime friend, Mary, that I hadn't heard from in a while. She said that since Greg and I were experienced in ghostly matters, and since I had written the book, "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind," * she thought that we could help her and her husband, John, to understand what was going on in their barn.

John has a new workshop in the barn, so they have a doorbell camera there to help protect the tools that he has in there. They started noticing unexplained balls of light moving around which the camera had recorded in the dark after he closes the door and leaves. Some of these balls of light were brighter than others, but they all move quickly. In the summer, they had thought that the balls were perhaps flying insects.

They sent me a still photo that John had taken of a video that their camera had recorded-

Notice the orb in the lower right of the photo. It's oval-shaped, and not very bright. The bright spots are just reflections.

Here's the intriguing video that they sent us-

This was really exciting for us since we've never before seen anything like this except on some of the paranormal TV shows. Greg and I both have the gift of taking paranormal still photos, but we've never tried taking videos. Maybe that's something we ought to investigate, to get into.

Also, as I've said before, we take ghostly photographs, but we need a psychic to interpret them for us.

So, I called Hawley, a gifted psychic, so I could let Mary and John know what was going on in their barn. She said that the orbs were good, harmless, and very positive which was great news! The orbs had very high, concentrated energy, and in fact, they were happy and protective, something like sprites or fairies. Boy, we should all be lucky enough to have energy like that around us! These fairies typically help animals and plants, although Mary said that there were no animals in the barn.

Mary seemed satisfied with the psychic's reading. I told her that the psychic had said that they could just ask the spirits to leave if they didn't want them there, but Mary said that they had already told them not to leave, that they liked them.

Anyway, it was good to hear from my friend, and I appreciate her and her husband letting me share their experience with my blog readers, and to let everyone know that not all paranormal activity is scary or evil, and that many times, spirits are just trying to help us out here on Earth.

While I had Hawley on the phone, I asked her about the ghostly story and the photo that I mentioned on my 10/16/21 blog post last month, entitled "A Ghostly Sighting, and More!"

Of the ghostly sighting that my relative, whom I'll call Jenny, told me about, Hawley said that the couple she saw didn't even see Jenny. They were in their own time period which was probably in the 1800's or 1900's. They lived in that area, and they were attending a funeral. A very sweet child in the family had died, and the child had held the family together. The couple was traumatized by the death. She said that Jenny was psychic, and that Jenny's sighting was really unusual and interesting. I'd like to thank Jenny for sharing her paranormal experience with me and the world!

I also asked Hawley about the photo I took of a park in Virginia. She said that spirits like to show themselves to me. She told me that the spirits in the photo were benign, not human, that they were fairies or wood nymphs.

Another strange thing about the park photo is that a few days after I'd talked with the psychic, I saw anther photo that another psychic photographer had on social media, and it looked very similar to mine! I couldn't believe it! It even had a large violet orb at the bottom of the photo like mine.

This is a very strange world!

A Ghostly Sighting, and More!

 Welcome!

I'll start my post today with a rather scary, true ghost story that one of my relatives recently emailed me about. Since she explained it so well, I'll quote her exact words.

Here is her ghostly sighting: "One night about 3:00 am, (which is a primetime for ghost sightings-B. A.) I saw 2 ghosts looking down at me in bed. The first was a sandy haired man with blue eyes and a nice smile. I blinked my eyes and he was still there so I layed back down. I looked up again and there was a woman all in black with a black veil over her head. I looked up and asked, What do you want? She never answered and then disappeared. No one believes me saying what I saw was a dream-IT WAS NOT!"

Wow! This is a rare occurrence. Not many get to witness what she saw. She explained that this sighting might have had something to do with the fact that she's been having issues with one of her eyes that caused her to experience this paranormal event.

I've never seen spirits myself. That's a good thing since I'd probably faint if something like this happened to me. How she remained as calm as she did is amazing to me. I told her that she must have nerves of steel.

In a few weeks I plan to consult a psychic about what my relative saw, and also I need to ask her about the following picture that I took while visiting a park:

(I'm psychically gifted at taking spirit photos, but I don't know how to interpret what's in those photos, so for that I rely on other psychics. People with psychic abilities all have their areas of expertise.)

I took the above eerie-looking photo a few days ago at Hungry Mother Park near Marion, Virginia. As you can see, there is a large lavender-tinged orb at the bottom of the photo and perhaps ectoplasm and smaller orbs above. This could just be lens flare, or it might be an actual psychic photo.

In my book, "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind,"* the psychic that I consulted for my photos in the book told me that spirits can come in on sunbeams. (Sadly, talented psychic Elaine Watson has since passed away.)

I'll let you know more about the two mysteries above in a future blog post after I consult a psychic that I often call now about such matters.

Have I got a haunted house for you! This month, it's double haunted!

The Nickerson Snead House in Glade Spring, Virginia is open as a Haunted Mansion for the Halloween season with many scary spine-tingling special effects. However, the scariest thing about this house is probably the fact that it really is haunted with several ghosts! No wonder!-It was used as a Civil War hospital, and the cellar was used as a morgue!

Happy Halloween!

Shadow Ghost

 Welcome!

In this blog post, I have an interesting photo of regular ectoplasm, and dark ectoplasm that is referred to as a shadow ghost.

Photo of a Shadow Ghost

I took the above photograph while I was sitting on the bottom step of our deck while grounding, with my feet in the grass.* I always try to have my camera handy while I'm outside since you never know what interesting subject you might encounter. I was really pleased that I got this picture of our neighbor's guinea since guineas are usually hard to photograph, as are most animals and birds!

As I looked at the photo a little closer, I noticed the dark ectoplasm at the trunk of the tree. I immediately noted that it was a shadow ghost. A shadow ghost is a type of ectoplasm that is darker than regular ectoplasm. There is somewhat of a debate among paranormal experts about shadow ghosts. There are some that say that shadow ghosts are evil, but others believe that the dark ones are no different than the lighter types. Greg noticed the lighter ectoplasm in the upper part of the photo that seems to reach down to the shadow ghost although it's actually in the foreground.

I was somewhat taken aback when I saw the shadow ghost in my photo since none have shown up in my photographs in a long time. I'm not certain why that is, but I believe that grounding, which I started doing only a few weeks ago, has helped me to once again become more psychic.

Speaking of being psychic, I recently called one of my favorite psychics a few days ago about some concern I had, and then I happened to remember my shadow ghost photograph, so I asked her what she thought about it.** She immediately said that this shadow ghost was the energy of dead soldiers stuck in the Civil War. Apparently, our land was part of a battlefield during that horrific war, and some of the soldiers that fought in this area were traumatized when their buddies were killed, and they didn't want to leave their friends' bodies.

I told the psychic that she was correct, that we had heard that our 1901 house was built in an area where Civil War soldiers passed through. I asked her if I should smudge the area, and she said I could if I wanted to, but that the spirits were benign. She said that she didn't believe that shadow ghosts were evil.

This afternoon, I decided I'd just go ahead and cleanse that area, and to do as the psychic suggested, to tell the stuck spirits that it was for the best that they move into the light, to go home. Greg worked with me as we cleansed the area, and I encouraged the spirits to move on. We don't need that type of energy here, and I felt so much better to think that we had freed the troubled spirits to move on to a better life.

There is a chapter in my book, "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind," about shadow ghosts, with several photographs of the shadow ghosts that I have taken. Please see the widget above for more information about my book on Amazon.

*I wrote a blog post about grounding earlier this month on Sunday, September 5, 2021. The post ("Grounding- Positively Life-changing!") is on my "The Art of Positive Living" blog. For more details, see https://theartofpositiveliving.blogspot.com .

**I have a gift for taking photographs of spirits, but I don't know how to interpret the photos, and that's where talented psychics that I contact come in. They give their psychic impressions of my paranormal photos.

Ectoplasm in a Mini-Park

Welcome!

Wow! Have Greg and I been busy the last few weeks! We got ready for Greg's birthday cookout which was last weekend. It was a lot of work since we're still trying to fix up our old house which is now mostly done. One really great thing about our house though is that it appears that it is no longer haunted, thank goodness!

This week has also been hectic, and we're attending a big family event tonight.

However, I still made time to work on my monthly "Spirit Photographs" blog post. I never panic about not having something to write about since weird stuff shows up in so many of the photographs that I take.

As I looked through my photos, and I decide to show two that I took in Abingdon, Virginia a couple of months ago. Greg and I were on our weekly shopping trip when I happened to notice that near one of the shops downtown there was a pretty little park that I would call a mini-park. I took several pictures of it since I thought it was so unique, an area between two old buildings, that brought in a bit of nature and nice artwork for people to enjoy.

The two photos below were the best ones that I took: (The only changes to the pictures were that I cropped them off some and I added my watermark.)

Notice the general ectoplasm in the foreground of the photo above.

The ectoplasm in the photo above looks more like a large orb around the far center post.

Why is there ectoplasm here in this mini-park? It could be that some person or animal died here or that spirits are just attracted to the serene beauty of the place.

Abingdon is a very old town so it's to be expected that there are many ghosts and spirits around. Because of this fact, Abingdon has at least two ghost tours, Abingdon Spirit Tours and Appalachian GhostWalks. Strangely enough, we haven't taken the time to go on either tour, (Too many other irons in the fire!) but we hope to in the near future. When we do, you will be the first to know!

To see more paranormal photographs that Greg and I and others have taken, check out my book, "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind" which is for sale on Amazon. (Please see the widget above.)

Old Paranormal Photos and More!

Welcome!

Recently, I've been looking through old memorabilia, trying to organize it. It's been a really big job because we have so much stuff, especially photographs. We have around 70 photo albums, and we could have more, but I just don't have all of our photos in our new albums yet.* Not long ago, we had a visitor who asked if there were photos in all of the albums on our shelves because he just couldn't believe what he saw.

A few of our albums have only paranormal photographs, but some of our paranormal photos are scattered about in our older albums since at the time we didn't realize that they were paranormal. A few others are just loose in boxes.

One such photograph is below-

This is a photo of me when I was little, in the side yard at our house. It was taken by my father who was an avid photographer. Of course, this was taken with a film camera, and whenever we got a photo back like this one with streaks, etc., we'd just say that there was something wrong with the film. However, I know better now, that this photograph and others like it actually had ectoplasm in them!

In my book, "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind," I have a whole chapter with paranormal photographs from my childhood. For more information about my paranormal book that is for sale on Amazon, please see the widget above.

It's really strange that I'd never realized until the other day that I'd never even thought about where my ability to take paranormal photographs had come from until I was looking at Daddy's photo (above). It then finally dawned on me where I had gotten my paranormal gift. This gift was passed on to my brother, as well. Some of his photos are even featured in my book.

As I further studied our photos, I noticed that my mother had also taken several of the photographs that had ectoplasm, etc. in them. Our family certainly was blessed with this ability!

Although Greg is not related to me except by marriage, of course, strangely enough, he has this same ability. (Maybe it's because Greg and I are soulmates!) I believe that he'd have as many paranormal photos as I if he just took more pictures.

More people than you'd think have this ability, but they don't realize it. Start analyzing your own photographs. You just might surprise yourself!

*Note: In the first paragraph above, I paused for a few minutes where you see the asterisk so I could take a break and get a snack before I went further. I just needed a little tide-me-over-until-my-next-meal snack, so I didn't get much to eat. The snack consisted of only a dried fig and a date which would serve the purpose just fine.

I put the saucer with a fork and my snack down on the countertop so I could go and do something else, and when I got back, the fork was moving up and down on the saucer that it was on. I thought to myself that it was like a seesaw or some sort of perpetual motion machine. I was fascinated, and I wondered how long it would continue to go up and down on its own. After a couple of minutes, I started to really wonder about when it would stop moving, but it just kept going, so I quickly got my camera and started taking pictures to document this phenomenon. (I never thought about using the video feature of my camera until it was too late since I very seldom use it.) I finally began to think that this must be something other-worldly!

I decided to run outside and tell Greg about it. He came in and couldn't believe that it had been going like that for around five minutes. He's very scientific, but he had no idea as to how it could have been going that long on its own. When it finally stopped, I estimated that it had continued that same movement for about seven or eight minutes!

There's only one explanation for what had happened-It was clearly something paranormal!

It's like the ghost-hunting shows you see on television with the flashlights fixed so that the spirits can easily turn them on or off. The fork was lightly resting on the edge of the saucer so a spirit could easily keep the momentum going at will.

The last psychic I consulted emphatically told me that our house was not haunted by ghosts. However, spirits can be anywhere, anytime and can sometimes manipulate things in the environment.

Apparently, the spirit who moved the fork on the saucer while I was in the process of writing my blog post must have thought that this would be something interesting to add to my post, and I guess it is! Thank you, spirit, whoever you might be!

Intriguing Paranormal Stories

 Welcome!

I have one photograph for you on this blog post today, but the photo is not paranormal because I edited out the paranormal part. The reason for this was to protect the name of the business that was at the top of the building which was where the ectoplasm was! I took three pictures of Greg in front of the building, but this was the only one that had ectoplasm.

The photo above shows Greg having lunch in front of the building that had ectoplasm near the top which is, of course, out of the range of this photo.

Many times the owner of a business doesn't want it to be known that his establishment is haunted for fear that it would scare away any customers, which is understandable. Normally, if the business owner is there, I get permission to use any paranormal photos that I have taken before I publish them. In the case of the picture above, however, the owner was not available since this is a regional chain.

For the rest of this post, I'll tell you paranormal stories that others have told me. They don't have paranormal photos with them either, but they are intriguing, nevertheless.

I recently got an email from our sister-in-law Cris from North Carolina who said she'd been meaning to send me "this little article from our neighborhood website," and that she looks "at that bridge every time we go to town." She said to let her know what I thought about it.

Here's what Cris sent me:

"ghost sightings. My brother in law has been seeing a Confederate Soldier ghost on the bridge over the Reuse River...on Covered Bridge Road. This has happened several times about 12:00 in the afternoon. Anyone else seeing this?" (This incident certainly dispels the idea that ghosts only appear after dark.)

"Echo Forest and Beyond
Yes, we had a ton of paranormal stuff happening on our property. Talked about it to our neighbors and they were having the same thing happening."

"Buffalo Creek
It doesn't surprise me. If you look at the top of the hill...you will see a rock barrier that the soldiers used for cover during battle."

I told Cris that Greg and I would love to come and check out the ghostly goings-on there sometime, that we'd come armed with our cameras.

When we lived in Middle Tennessee, we happened to live next door to a psychic who told us that she once saw a Civil War officer on horseback, riding down our street! In fact, the whole neighborhood where we lived was an old Confederate campground with Civil War artifacts that people often found buried in the ground. No wonder it was haunted!

Earlier in my life, before I met Greg, I dated a guy who told me that when he was going to college in Eastern Virginia, he was driving by a field once when he came upon what looked like a Civil War battle being played out, but it wasn't a re-enactment! It looked real! He said that it had (understandably!) unnerved him, and that he'd never before told anyone else about the incident.

(This was before I was into the paranormal, although ghost stories had always fascinated me. I certainly had no idea then that I had a paranormal photography gift. Had I known more about the paranormal then, I feel that I could have helped him more about what he had witnessed. However, what he said really impressed me. It was something that I filed away in my mind and never forgot.)

The Civil War soldier on the bridge in North Carolina and the Civil War battle in Virginia are both like a movie playing over and over again. It is like they are on film; they are unlike spirits who can at times even interact with the living.

My brother, Nick, emailed me yesterday, telling me that he and his wife, Lisa, had just gotten back from a trip where they visited a huge mansion, parts of which had "very creepy vibes." He said that otherwise they didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. No wonder it was creepy since two murders had taken place in that house. He said that the staff had been instructed not to talk about the murders, and I later found out that the staff was also not to mention that anything paranormal was going on, although there have been several reports of supernatural occurrences there by several witnesses!

However, in Abingdon, Virginia, the staffs of the Martha Washington Inn and The Tavern are not reticent about discussing all of their paranormal phenomena! Just check them out on the Internet!

I really appreciate those that shared their paranormal stories with me so that I could share them with you. You just never know about the paranormal; sometimes you happen to be in the right place at the right time, and you are able see or hear or feel something supernatural, and you may even be lucky enough to catch something strange on camera. You just never know.

There are plenty of paranormal photographs that Greg, Nick, and I have taken, (Greg and Nick also have the gift of paranormal photography.) and stories we have to tell in my book, "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind" which is on Amazon. Please check out my book by clicking the widget above on this blog for more information.

The (Haunted) Tavern

Greg and I recently visited historic Abingdon, Virginia...

The Tavern

which has The Tavern that is the oldest historic building in Abingdon. The Tavern dates back to 1779, and in its long history, it has been many things, an inn, a post office, a private home, a bakery, as well as several other things including a hospital for both Confederate and Union soldiers during the Civil War.

Oh, and did I mention that it was also haunted!

One evening, we stopped by The Tavern for dessert which was delicious...

Key Lime Pie

Afterwards, we got permission to take pictures to see if we could capture any paranormal activity with our cameras.

Before we got started, we talked with our server, Allison, to see if she knew anything about the ghostly goings-on there. She told us some very strange things that had happened to those that worked there-several had been touched, strange noises had been heard (voices, walking), etc. She said that a woman had been murdered in one of the upstairs rooms which was supposed to be the most haunted room in the building.

Also, there is even a video of a chair moving by itself. (There are several great videos on YouTube about The [haunted] Tavern.)

Here are some photographs that Greg and I took:

The photo above is of the room where the murder took place. It is supposed to be the most haunted one in the building, but we found only one orb in this room in the four or five photographs that we took of it. The orb is on the wood to the upper left of the woman in the far right of the photo.

Here's a close-up of that orb-

Orb in the "Most-Haunted Room"

Could this orb (above) be the spirit of the woman who was murdered in this room? Is she watching people as they dine, etc.?

Afterwards, we went into the adjacent room which seemed to have a lot more paranormal activity going on, at least for that night.

I took about four pictures in that room, and they were all blurred, which shows that something, like paranormal activity, was interfering with my camera!

Here's the best photo of the bunch in that room-

A few of these anomalies are actually lights on the walls and reflections, but some of these show ghostly activity. For example, notice the ectoplasm in the bottom left corner and the strange-looking orb near the center of the photo.

Close-up of the Strange-Looking Orb

We concluded that this room was the most haunted one that we photographed at The Tavern. We found out later that the Civil War hospital was upstairs which, we think, contributed to much of the paranormal activity in this room.

As we were leaving the upstairs, to go back down, Greg snapped this photo of the stairway-

Notice the small violet bit of ectoplasm to the left of the steps. Violet is a very spiritual color.

Enlargement of the Previous Photo

Yes, Greg and I will have to agree, The Tavern is definitely haunted!

Why don't you check it out for yourself!

For more on the paranormal, I've written a book, "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind" in which I show many photographs that Greg, other people, and I have taken of many different places, including Europe, of paranormal activity.

Haunted or Not?

 Welcome!

I have written several blog posts about our unfinished cabin, and now, here's another one about our cabin!

This is my latest cabin photograph. It looks harmless enough.

As I've mentioned previously, I believed that our cabin was haunted because of some of the ectoplasm that showed up in some of my photographs, taken both inside and out. Also, a psychic that I consulted by phone said that she thought that the cabin was actually built on top of a slave graveyard!

Since the cabin is unfinished, so far we have used it only for storage and for yard sales.

The past ten days, it has been the temporary home for one of our cats, Kit-Cat, a stray that we've been feeding. Kit-Cat had to have emergency surgery, so we let it recuperate in our cabin.

Here (above) is a photograph I took of Kit-Cat on an old comforter inside the cabin. The photo looks a little blurred. I was disappointed that the image was not sharper, and it was too dark. I obviously did not use a flash. I usually don't use one as I prefer existing-light photos. The only thing I changed about the photo was adding my watermark.

This second photo (above) is much lighter (I didn't use a flash on this one either!), and it's a lot more blurred than the first one. Here, again, I just added my watermark.

Actually, I took four pictures. The first one was light and very blurred, the second one was dark and slightly blurred, and the ones above are the third and fourth photos.

While I was taking the pictures, I felt very frustrated because when I tried to push the button down on the camera, it hesitated on taking the picture at least a couple of times. Maybe it was because of the low light. I don't know. Perhaps it was something else! Was something messing with my camera?

Anyway, I was somewhat perturbed that the strange photos might be because of something paranormal. I was especially upset because of the fact that before we put Kit-Cat into the cabin, I smudged the cabin using a sage smudge stick, and demanded that any negative, evil entities leave the cabin forever. In fact, I told them to leave our entire property immediately! I said that only positive, good entities would remain. I also sprinkled salt in all four corners of the cabin to further get rid of any negative energy!

Good news! Today, Kit-Cat got out of the cabin, and went back to her normal life just outside our house, in the yard that she apparently loves. She seemed fine, better than ever. I thought about the blurred photos, and decided that the camera may not have operated properly because of the low light, or maybe because there were some helpful, healing spirits that were there with Kit-Cat, helping her to recuperate, because after the first couple of days of her being in the cabin, she seemed to settle down, and she did just fine. She even seemed to thrive.

Positive spirits are very acceptable, but, of course, the negative ones are not!

So, is the cabin haunted or not? The best I can tell is that positive energy is all that remains there. So, a happy ending for us all!

More Spirits in the Snow from the Past

Welcome!

And, welcome spring!

This is the first day of spring, and although I don't like talking about snow on the first day of spring, there is something I'd like to share on this blog post that you might find interesting.

Last month, I wrote a blog post entitled "Spirits in the Snow and More" on 2/20/21. On that post, I have a photograph of our current house with snow coming down, and mixed with the snow are orbs and other types of ectoplasm.

A few days ago, I was looking through my many photos, eliminating some and putting others into their appropriate folders, when I happened to notice for the first time something strange in three of my photos of our very first house which was in Kingsport, Tennessee.

Here is one of the photographs of our old house that shows orbs and ectoplasm as well as snowflakes-

Notice how large some of the orbs are, and how many of them seem to glow. Some of the orbs are almost transparent. If you notice carefully, you can even see ectoplasm in the snow on the ground in front of the shrubs which are on the left.

The orbs and ectoplasm are no surprise to me, because Greg and I knew that this house was very haunted. In fact, I wrote a chapter about our old house in my book, "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind." Please see the widget above for more details about my book which is for sale on Amazon.

A few days ago, I thought I'd start my spring cleaning, organizing, etc. at our current house in Virginia. As I was going through some boxes of memorabilia, I came across some writing I'd done for an English class when I was in college. I thought it would be somewhat appropriate for the blog post I'm writing now.

Here it is-

 "Dead of Winter"
Stark trees are etched against the steel-grey sky which unloads its snow-burden, entombing the lifeless landscape below.-Becky Arnott

Winter is gone for now, however, and a new season has arrived. We'll see what paranormal activity  we'll encounter during the next few months. Stay tuned, and happy spring!

Spirits in the Snow and More!

Welcome!

I have several things to share with you this month, spirits (ectoplasm) in the snow and even more!

We've had quite a bit of snow this winter where we live. I was really excited when we had a pretty good snow of about three inches so I could take some pictures of our house in the snow. We're been here at our new location for only about a year and a half, and we got very little snow last year.

I took five pictures of our house in the snow, and all five had ectoplasm somewhere either on the house or in our yard! I never dreamed that would happen. I just wanted some pretty photos of our house in the winter. Guess I'll just have to settle for pretty photos of our house in the winter with ectoplasm!

Here's a close-up photograph of our house with several bunches of ectoplasm. Also, notice the ectoplasm down low on the trees and above the bush in the yard.

There's probably even more ectoplasm in my photos, but it's hard to see it since it would be white against white.

More outdoor spirit activity-

This is a picture of our deck at night. I was trying to take a picture of the stray cat which has recently become our adopted outdoor cat. Taking pictures in the darkness is not the easiest thing to do, but this photo paid off as far as getting paranormal activity! The light in the background is from a pole lamp, but if you look closely, you can see the moving orbs near the light.

I'm nor concerned about these spirits in the snow or on the deck since they're outside, and they don't bother us.

I consulted a psychic not long ago about spirits on our property, and she said that our house was not haunted, but there were spirits of Civil War soldiers that made an appearance from time to time, and they were not harmful. For more about what the psychic told me, please see my 12/19/20 blog post, "Answers from the Psychic."

You can see many more spirit photographs in my book, "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind" which is for sale on Amazon. See the widget above for more information.

Take care!

Haunted? Cabin in the Snow

Welcome!

Here we are in the throes of winter, as evidenced by this photograph that I recently took of our little cabin in the snow-

Is This Cabin Haunted?

As a mentioned on my last blog post on 12/19/2020, "Answers from the Psychic," I said that I would tell what the psychic I consulted said about our nearby cabin.

When I mentioned the word "cabin" to the psychic, she said "slaves." I then told her that our neighbor had said that there was a slave graveyard near our house, probably either behind our house on a hill which is about 500 feet away or around another neighbor's workshop which is about 200 feet away. The psychic then said that our cabin was actually on top of the slave graveyard! Wow, that's certainly not anything that I wanted to hear!

I was speechless after she said that, and after the reading, I discussed what she said about the cabin with Greg. We decided that it wasn't really anything to be alarmed about. It had been several weeks since we had heard any noises coming from inside the cabin, and I hadn't recently gotten any paranormal photographs either inside or outside the cabin.

We currently use the unfinished cabin to store our yard sale items. If we decide to finish it sometime in the future, to turn it into either a guest house or a rental house, I can get out my smudge stick and do a ritual to get rid of any entities that might be haunting the place. (Some people, though, might actually want to stay in a haunted cabin which is something to consider!)

Right now, we feel pretty good about the lack of anything paranormal on our property, and we hope it stays that way! However, the paranormal is pretty unpredictable, and you just never know!

I'll still have plenty of things to write about elsewhere as the world is full of the supernatural, especially around the old towns near us! Stay tuned!

For more information about our cabin, please see my previous "Spirit Photographs" blog posts, and for even more information about the paranormal, check out my book, "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind" which is for sale on Amazon. (See widget above.)
