"Spirit Photographs" Update

Welcome!

Today, I'd like to give you an update on the paranormal things that have happened in my life since our last meeting on this "Spirit Photographs" blog.

First of all, one morning, a few weeks ago, I went into our guest room, and noticed that the cushions and pillows on the love seat had fallen over and one was even on the floor.  It was an unusual thing to happen, and I thought that maybe the cats had done it, but they've never done anything like that before.  Also, it's certainly within the realm of possibility that it was a paranormal occurrence, because one night, several months ago, I heard a loud noise from this same area, and discovered that the love seat had apparently moved about six inches to the right, by itself!

Are these two cats innocent or guilty?

Also, I mentioned in my last "Spirit Photographs" blog post (Please see my Saturday, August 8, 2015 post.), that my mother had just recently passed over, and that I had started getting positive messages, just as a psychic said I would, like "Love never fails."

I first saw "Love never fails." just two days just after she'd passed, on a girl's tee shirt, while I was in a store to buy a frame for a special photo collage I was going to fix as a tribute to Mama for her funeral service.  I thought that "Love never fails." looked familiar, but I couldn't quite remember where it came from.

Then, a few days later, I was looking through a box that a relative had given me that contained a few of Mama's possessions, and I couldn't believe it. but there, in the bottom of the box was a new-looking note pad holder that I'd never seen before that said, "Love never fails."

As if this weren't enough, about a week later, I was going through my emails that I was far behind on, and one of them really got my attention.  It was an email from Joel Osteen, "Today's Word with Joel and Victoria," which was entitled, "Love Never Fails." (1 Corinthians 13:8).  (I was glad to know that "Love never fails." was from one of my favorite Biblical passages which I hadn't recognized on the tee shirt.)

And what's more- and this is mind-boggling to me- Joel's email was dated July 31, 2015...the very day my mother had passed away!

Reminder: "Ghost Hunters" and "Paranormal Witness" Wednesday nights (for a short while, I presume) ("Syfy"), and "Ghost Adventures" ("Travel Channel") on Saturday nights

Spirit Messages

Welcome!

I lost my mother just a week ago, and I'd like to share with you some of the unusual things that happened surrounding her passing.

Greg and I found out she was really sick, so while we were on our way to see her, a large bird swooped down at our car, near the windshield.  Later, we got stuck behind a truck for several miles which had "casket company" printed on it.

Then, a few days later, I got an email from a family member who said she had lit a candle for Mama since she was ill, but the candle went "out on its own with half a candle left," which gave her an uneasy feeling.

Also, she had a big bird experience, as well.  It was an owl that "hooted loudly" and swooped down nearby a couple of times.  Since it was an owl, it made her feel "uneasy, because in the Native American world, seeing an owl means someone will die."

Then, just a few days after my mother passed on, I started getting positive messages, especially when I'd go out somewhere.  Two of my favorites are, "Love never fails." and "Heaven is better."  All of these spirit messages were so comforting, just what I needed to help me get through all of the pain.

A friend sent me a wonderful email in which she tells about a musical greeting card that her deceased mother had given her several years ago, that suddenly started playing on its own, even though it had been packed away under several things in a box for several years.

The things I have written about above are examples of messages from Heaven, angels, Spirit, God.

For more information and examples, about spirit messages, be sure and check out the intriguing book, "Animal-Speak, The Spiritual & Magical Powers of Creatures Great & Small" by Ted Andrews.  Also, there's my favorite magazine, "Woman's World" which always has the "My Guardian Angel" feature in which readers share their stories about their departed loved ones sending them signs and messages from beyond.

The Haunting Lure of a Lake

Welcome!

Great to have you back!

Greg and I had a close encounter or two with the spirit world during these past few weeks, as we usually do!

Not long ago, we met some family members in beautiful Lake Lure, North Carolina.  We stayed at lovely "The 1927 Lake Lure Inn and Spa" where the stars and crew of the hit movie, "Dirty Dancing" stayed while filming was going on.

The 1927 Lake Lure Inn and Spa

Our sister-in-law who is really into the paranormal as we are, was staying with her husband at another place at Lake Lure that she knew was haunted.  We had wanted to spend the night there, as well, but we were unable to get a room, so we ended up at the 1927 Inn.

I had told Greg before we left for Lake Lure, that I bet our place would be haunted, too, that Patrick Swayze, the star of "Dirty Dancing," probably haunts that place.  We found out that apparently, the inn is haunted!

We were fortunate enough to have been just down the hall from a room that was supposed to be haunted, number 217, since a murder-suicide had taken place there.  Once, a guest even left that room early, during the night.  Animals that have stayed in the room don't seem to like it, as they nervously pace the floor until they can leave.

And, close by, was the suite, number 215, where Patrick Swayze stayed.  Although no one said anything about his suite being haunted, a couple of pictures I took outside his door had some ectoplasm.  Whether the ectoplasm was just a spillover from the nearby haunted room or not is anyone's guess.

Left, the "Haunted" Room, and at the End of the Hall, Patrick Swayze's Suite

I would't be surprised if Patrick Swayze's ghost was right there, though, because I can see how anyone who had stayed there would want to haunt that fabulous place!  It's a little bit of heaven on earth!

The people in charge of the inn are not shy about it being haunted as you can read about the paranormal goings-on in the lobby, and/or talk with an employee who has had first-hand encounters with the spirit world.

We got to talk with another Patrick, the events coordinator, at the inn, who  had captured a ghost boy on his camera during a wedding there.  We were fortunate that we got to see the photo with the distinct ghostly image.  Patrick was very lucky (and gifted!) because capturing an apparition on camera is a rare event!

That wasn't all!  Patrick also told us that he'd also been touched on the shoulder three different times there at the inn.

In addition, a housekeeper had seen an apparition in a white dress that even spoke to her.

Several other paranormal events have happened there, as well.

We got paranormal grids in several of the mirrors there (in the ladies' room, the hallway, and even the haunted room [My sister-in-law and I asked the guest staying in that room if we could take a couple of pictures of his room since it was supposed to be haunted.  He was a good sport about it, but said he'd not tell his wife that it was haunted as she would want to leave.  It would be interesting to see how they got through the night!]  There was nothing paranormal going on in Greg's and my mirror [or room], so we had a good night's sleep!)

Another reason there is so much spirit activity going on there is perhaps because it was a hospital for a time.

Anyway, if you'd like to go visit a fantastic place that has it all (even ghosts!), you might want to take a trip to haunting Lake Lure, North Carolina!

Note: Sunday, July 12, "Finding Bigfoot" finale on "Animal Planet!"

Haunted Computer?

Welcome!

It's good to be back with you!

A lot has gone on with me, paranormal-wise, as it usually does, but I'll mention only a couple of the more outstanding things on this post.

The two paranormal events that I've just recently had, involve my computer.  Both times, I was trying to email people.

The first time, I was emailing a relative, and we were making plans for Greg and me to meet her and her husband and another couple at a haunted inn in North Carolina to spend the night.  However, right in the middle of my email, some of the keys stopped working, including the space key!  I finally ended up capitalizing the beginning of every word and using words that didn't contain certain letters since those didn't work.  I finally got my message across, thank goodness, but it took a lot of creative typing!

Then, the second email was to my brother, to thank him for the copy of a paranormal photo that he had sent me that he had seen on Facebook that a woman in his church had taken before dark in an old graveyard.  What is significant is that she actually saw the reddish ectoplasm before she snapped the picture.  (None of us has ever done that.  For us, the paranormal stuff just shows up in the photos after we've taken the pictures.)  Anyway, for this email to my brother, I had a hard time just trying to get the email sent, but persistence prevailed!

Greg and I are going to go check out that graveyard ourselves the next time we go that way.  I'll let you know if we find anything significant there, or in North Carolina!

So, the question is, is our computer haunted?  Were the two events actually paranormal?

Another thing to consider is that the planet Mercury is retrograde right now (May 18-June 11).  When this happens, strange things can happen with technology, communication.  Maybe that's what happened, but I think it's very significant that both times that I had problems, I was discussing the paranormal.

Just hope this blog post posts OK!

P. S. - My book, "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind, " is now on Kindle!

Weird Photo of a Haunted House

Welcome!

Since my last "Spirit Photographs" blog post, I've taken several pictures that have been paranormal.  I'd like to share one of those with you today.  I think it's the most unusual one of the bunch as I've never taken one quite like this one before.

It's a picture of an old (haunted) house in Columbia, Tennessee which I wrote about on my 9/7/12 blog post.  It was one of the houses featured in the Columbia Ghost Tour that Greg and I took.  The photo I featured on the other post shows an orb in the upper right-hand corner of the house.

The photo I took recently, here on this post, is really weird!  I took the photo from the passenger side as the car was moving which might have caused the wavy lines in the photo.  It also has a wet look, but I can't remember if it was raining that day or not.  It's strange that part of the photo is perfectly normal looking, however, except for the scary image in the upper right-hand window!

I haven't yet shown this photo to any psychics, so I'd love to hear from anyone who would like to interpret this one for me and the other readers!

I also have a huge announcement about my book:  "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind" is now a Kindle book!  Please get it today, and write a review on my Amazon page.

Paranormal Update

Welcome back!

I'm still very busy with my projects, but I just wanted to fill you in on what all has happened in my paranormal world during the past month.

As you might recall, Greg and I were having some issues, mostly with strange sounds in our house, and even our car horns were blowing on their own.

Our Current House

Over the weekend, I consulted one of my favorite psychics, Ruby, who told me that many of the noises we have heard were unconsciously triggered by Greg and me because we have so much psychic energy!

She also told me several other things about our house which I will detail in another book that I'm currently writing.   Also, in the chapter in my upcoming book about our house, I'll include the intriguing things that our favorite neighborhood psychic told us about the house's history, etc.  With all of the things that went on here, I guess Greg, the cats, and I are actually doing pretty well!

In addition to consulting Ruby this weekend about our house, I also asked her to give her impression of a few photos that looked paranormal that Greg and I had taken during the past four years.  This was the first time since the untimely death of the gifted psychic, Elaine, who expertly interpreted the paranormal photographs for my first book, "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind," that a psychic has given a reading about any of our photos.

We knew how really good Ruby was at interpreting our photographs when, after looking at one of the photos of the Cypress Grove Nature Park in West Tennessee, she said that she saw a skeleton of a monster in the ectoplasm.  If you read my earlier blog posts on 9/5/14 and on 9/13/14, you'll recall that I said that Greg and I were certain that we had heard the sounds of Bigfoot in that very park!  (I get chills as I write this because it brings back my feelings of the day we were there, and Ruby was right on track in her description of the ectoplasmic remains apparently of Bigfoot that could certainly be interpreted as a monster!)

Ruby had no idea what park was pictured.  Besides, to our knowledge, hardly anyone knows that Bigfoot apparently lives right there in that Cypress Swamp, except for the lady that came face-to-face with one which I tell about in my two earlier posts.  Of course, there could also be others who have seen Bigfoot there, but they're probably just keeping quiet about it.

Greg and I now feel even more confident that it was Bigfoot we heard that day in the swamp, that we could have easily had an even closer encounter with it than we did.  If we had, I'd have liked to have taken his or her picture to once and for all prove the existence of such a creature.

I guess I'll just have to be satisfied to have taken a picture of it's spirit as that's a safer alternative than having an actual close encounter with one!

Hopefully, by next time, I can share some big news about my first book, "Close Encounters of the Spirit Kind."

Unnerved by the Paranormal

Welcome!

I said I'd be back writing a blog post today, and I try to be a person of my word, but this post will be brief  due to my nerves, caused by what Greg and I believe is a subtle but relentless attack on us by some paranormal force here in our house.

A strange event happened a couple weeks ago which makes me believe this is true.  One night, we had an ice/snow storm which, of course, made the roads treacherous, so much so that Greg couldn't get home from work.  That meant that I had to spend the night in our house by myself which is not something I like to do.  I decided I'd just stay up all night until Greg got home.

All went well until around 3:15 AM.  At that time, I was in the kitchen with our two cats when all of a sudden, I heard a loud sound, like a thud, in our living room.  I bravely (with weak knees) walked through our dining room to our dark living room and switched on a light.  I quickly looked around and noticed that a plaque on our mantel (which had been sitting there in that spot for a long time) was lying flat on the top of the mantel.  That explained the loud noise.  I guess that with a little effort, a spirit in-the-know could easily push that plaque down.

Wooden Plaque on Mantle

After all, that was a perfect time to manipulate an object.  Here it was, 3:00 AM, prime time for spirits, the weather was very unsettled, and poor Becky was home alone.  What could be better for a ghostly cheap thrill?

Yes, spirits can make the inhabitants of a house (even pets) feel very unnerved, even when they are not doing things like pushing down plaques.  Their best targets are those that are very sensitive.

Just as I was writing this, our calico cat Kallie, that was sitting on my lap, gazed up over my head and seemed to be observing things I can't see.  Then, she jumped down and ran onto another room.

That's okay.  In the next few days, I'm going to be consulting with a psychic to determine our best plan of action.  Greg and I had hoped that things were much better here, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Wish me luck. Stay tuned!
