Paranormal Photo or Not?

 Welcome!

I want to share an interesting photograph that I took recently when I was at a bridal shower. Greg and I have been analyzing it carefully, trying to decide whether or not it is a paranormal photo.

Here's the photo in question-

Unfortunately, I had to crop off part of the photograph for the privacy of the ladies that were at the shower, but enough of it shows to give you the idea of the layout of the distant view of the subject.

I always look through the photos I take to see if there's anything strange about them since often times there is, because I have a gift of taking paranormal photographs.

I zoomed in on the photo above since I noticed something unusual-

Close-up of the Area in Question

It looks as though the table near the center of the photo is glowing. Is the glow ectoplasm, or is it merely glare from the sun? Greg noticed that there is a strange trail of light that goes from the table, diagonally back to the right, and includes part of a chair, and it ends at the tree across the street. There is also light under, and on the back of, the chair in the left front of the photo.

I'd like to think that this photo shows the ectoplasm of spirits, connected to the bride and groom-to-be, that have come to enjoy the festivities of something very special. Spirits love going to celebrations.

So, is this a paranormal photo or not? What do you think?

I'll be talking with a psychic about this intriguing photograph in the near future to see what her thoughts are about it.

Stay tuned!

Getting Rid of Negative Energy, Bad Spirits

Welcome!

I consulted a psychic, Hawley, a few weeks ago, and she suggested that I cleanse our new house because of the negative energy of the spirit of the man who used to live in our house. He was not a nice person, and there is a lot of heavy, unhappy energy here. There is a feeling of resistance; it makes it hard for us to do our work.

Since I spoke with Hawley, things have improved. I believe the previous owner is keeping a lower profile, that he's not sure what we're going to do to him!

Photo of Kallie and Mitzi

During the past month, the only photo that I have taken in our house that might be paranormal is the one above which shows our two cats, Kallie and Mitzi, between the living room and hallway. There is an obvious glare on the floor from the window, but there is also a fuzziness that could possibly be ectoplasm.

As far as strange noises, I have heard nothing, but Greg said that he heard a noise upstairs one night while he was downstairs. He thought that it was the cats making the noise, but  he looked around, and he said that both cats were downstairs, as was I. And, that's it! We're getting off easily compared to what we have encountered the previous months that we have been here.

However, I decided that this afternoon I'd go ahead and do the salt cleanse that is outlined in the intriguing book "Feng Shui Your Life" by Jayme Barrett.

I have gathered all of the necessary components to carry out this cleanse.

Jayme says that this salt-burning ritual is great for "intense purification" like "when you move into a new home." She says it "will cleanse your emotions at the same time." She warns about being careful when performing the ritual since fire is involved.

Jayme said that salt burning is also good to use after an illness or death.

I'll let you know how this ritual went on the next blog post in April.

Take care, and happy spring!

Sending Love from Beyond the Grave?

Welcome!

I have a really interesting photo to show you today! This is not one of mine or one of Greg's; it's one that my brother sent me, and it is, as you might guess, PARANORMAL!

A few weeks ago, we were having a little email chat, and on one of those emails that Nick sent was the photo below-

This is a photograph of the old house where Nick and I grew up in Southwest Virginia. Nick was visiting the area so he drove by and snapped this great picture.

I started wondering if there was anything paranormal about this photograph, so I enlarged and studied it. Sure, enough, it didn't take long to find something very unique, very strange in this photo.

In this close-up, notice the glowing white heart on the door! The heart was not something hanging on the door, and it's nothing to do with the curtain. The reason I know this for a fact is that he also (thankfully!) sent me another photo which was taken directly in front of the house, and no heart was there! (However, some ectoplasm did show up in a couple of the windows.)

I told Nick that I thought the heart was sent by the spirits of Mama and Daddy to show their love. Of course, they used to live there, and probably still visit from time to time. (Or maybe they still live there!)

I know for a fact that this house is haunted. I wrote about it in my book, "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind" which is now available either in paperback or as a Kindle download on Amazon. Please see the widget with a picture of my book (above) to order.

Most of the paranormal photos in my book (over 100!) were taken by my husband, Greg, and me (Becky Arnott). Also, Nick has a photo in my book, the regionally famous June Tolliver House ghost photo which is really spooky! See what you think is in the window!

On the outside of a haunted house, most of the time, ghosts and other types of ectoplasm often show up either on the doors or in the windows.

The Latest on the Paranormal, Including Photos

Welcome!

I have several things I'd like to share with you on this post.

First of all, I have a fake paranormal photo I'd like to share with you. I had thought it was real at first, until I investigated it a little further.

Greg and I had just gotten back from a trip on a rainy night. When Greg got out of the car, he said that there was an armadillo near our backyard fence. I got all excited about it since I'd never seen one, so, of course, I pulled out my camera to get a picture of the little guy. The following photo is what I got-

I never did see the armadillo in the picture; guess he was too fast for me!, but I did get these weird lights that looked like streaks of ectoplasm. I was sure I'd gotten something unusual until I analyzed the photo. In my haste to capture my subject, I had jerked the camera, and the streaks of light were just street and house lights in the background.

However, most of the time, the paranormal photos that Greg and I take are a hundred percent real!

For example, here is a paranormal photo I took a few weeks ago of Greg standing in front of "Homestead Manor" in Thompson Station, Tennessee-

Notice the fuzzy ectoplasm at the top of the photo.

I obviously took this picture in the daytime, using no flash. This haunted mansion is an easy target since it is so haunted! I wrote about it on my "Spirit Photographs" blog last year. It's the 7/2/16 post entitled "Haunted Homestead Manor."

Our sister-in-law Cris wants us to go visit Tombstone, Arizona which is one of her favorite places since it is apparently so full of ghosts. (She's really into the paranormal just like Greg and I are.) We're seriously considering it! Should be really interesting !

Also, Greg and I are looking forward to the season premiere of "Finding Bigfoot" on "Animal Planet" starting tomorrow night (1/08/17) at 9:00 PM EST. It's supposed to be in North Carolina near the Appalachian Trail. Fans of the show will get a real treat tomorrow since it will be on all day starting in the morning! Enjoy!

Important notice: I want you to know that starting this month, the "Spirit Photographs" blog post will be the third Saturday of each month instead of the first Saturday.

(My other blog, "The Art of Positive Living" will be the first Sunday of each month only, starting February 5. However, my already scheduled Sunday, January 15 post will be posted as planned.)

A Paranormal Photo, Plus...

Welcome!

I'd just like to share with you a recent photo that I took. I was sitting at a traffic light when I saw and decided to take a quick photo of a pretty flower in a churchyard before the light changed. I'm glad I did, for more reasons than one. I not only have a photo of a pretty flower, but I captured some ectoplasm, as well!

As I mentioned in my book, "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind," spirits, as a rule, tend to be attracted to churches and churchyards. Guess this photo sort of confirms that!

Also, Greg and I recently got an interesting email from a relative, Cris, who is really into the paranormal just like we are.

The email was about Pere Cheney which is believed to be the most haunted place in Michigan. (Cris used to live in Michigan, and this area is only a few minutes away from her family home.) They say that "witches, ghosts, and other strange beings" dwell there. Glowing lights have been spotted in this area, also.

Check out this intriguing story, as well as several other haunted-Michigan tales at www.99wfmk.com . Or, you could  type in "John Robinson's Haunted Michigan" to access these true scary stories.

Enjoy!

Happy Labor Day!

Haunted Computer?

Welcome!

It's good to be back with you!

A lot has gone on with me, paranormal-wise, as it usually does, but I'll mention only a couple of the more outstanding things on this post.

The two paranormal events that I've just recently had, involve my computer.  Both times, I was trying to email people.

The first time, I was emailing a relative, and we were making plans for Greg and me to meet her and her husband and another couple at a haunted inn in North Carolina to spend the night.  However, right in the middle of my email, some of the keys stopped working, including the space key!  I finally ended up capitalizing the beginning of every word and using words that didn't contain certain letters since those didn't work.  I finally got my message across, thank goodness, but it took a lot of creative typing!

Then, the second email was to my brother, to thank him for the copy of a paranormal photo that he had sent me that he had seen on Facebook that a woman in his church had taken before dark in an old graveyard.  What is significant is that she actually saw the reddish ectoplasm before she snapped the picture.  (None of us has ever done that.  For us, the paranormal stuff just shows up in the photos after we've taken the pictures.)  Anyway, for this email to my brother, I had a hard time just trying to get the email sent, but persistence prevailed!

Greg and I are going to go check out that graveyard ourselves the next time we go that way.  I'll let you know if we find anything significant there, or in North Carolina!

So, the question is, is our computer haunted?  Were the two events actually paranormal?

Another thing to consider is that the planet Mercury is retrograde right now (May 18-June 11).  When this happens, strange things can happen with technology, communication.  Maybe that's what happened, but I think it's very significant that both times that I had problems, I was discussing the paranormal.

Just hope this blog post posts OK!

P. S. - My book, "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind, " is now on Kindle!

Mysterious "Cloud with Orb" Photo

Welcome!

Wow!  I have a very interesting photo for you on this blog post.  It was sent to me by a friend in Greeneville,Tennessee.  This person who took the photo has always had a fascination with clouds and even enjoys photographing them.

One evening last month, she took a series of three photographs of some pretty clouds from her back porch, when, to her surprise, after looking at the photos, she detected something that looked like an orb in her second one.  (In her first photo, she thought it looked as though the orb might just be forming and in the third one there is no orb in sight.)

The orb in this photo is pretty obvious.  A psychic told me that anomalies that glowed were paranormal in nature.

This Greeneville photographer said she enjoys my blog and thought I might be interested in seeing the photo.  I told her I was, so she sent me an 8x10 hard copy which I photographed with my camera to put on this blog post.

I also took the photograph to a photo machine in my favorite big box store and cropped it off and enlarged it.  I was amazed at the variety of colors the orb has.  I'd never examined one that closely before.

She said that her husband thinks it looks like a small green ball.  To her, it looks like the planet Earth.  She had even speculated that it might have been the moon, but her husband said that the moon was in "another place in the sky at that time."  Also, he said that the moon would not be in front of the clouds, which is true.

After enlarging it, to me, it looks like there's a white star in the center of the orb, along with two or three other star shapes.

My husband Greg and I have taken several pictures with orbs, but never so far up in the sky as this one!

Greg thought it might even be a UFO.

What do you think?  Please feel free to send a comment about this unusual phenomenon.

Thanks to the photographer and her husband for sharing this fascinating photo with us!

Also, if you have anything paranormal to share, please email me:  spiritphotographs@gmail.com
(In fact, you might want to email me with any comments, also, because some people are having trouble commenting the normal way.)

One person emailed the following:  "What a wonderful photo!!  When I first saw the orb, I thought it was just the reflection of the sun in the lens of the camerea.  But considering the object's small size and location, I had to dismiss this idea.  The beautiful color and sharpness of this feature almost suggests a UFO-type image.  Thanks for sharing this!!"  BN of Greeneville,TN.  (I appreciate this person's great feedback.)

Energy Vortex

Welcome!

A vortex is an area that emits powerful electromagnetic energy.  There are several vortexes on earth such as Stonehenge and the Bermuda Triangle, to mention a couple of the most famous ones.  You can find others by doing a search on the Internet for one near you.

Greg and I recently visited a vortex in our area.  It was a place that was once sacred to a tribe of Native Americans thousands of years ago.

We spent the day there, hiking and trying to see if we could feel any special energy.

While there, we just enjoyed being out in nature, taking in the many wonderful sights and sounds.

There is plenty of chi (energy) around bodies of water.

And, we were lucky enough to snap this paranormal  photo which shows an area that was sacred.  Notice the almost orb-shaped lavender on the tree which I never saw before taking the picture.

(Being at these vortex areas is supposed to enhance your psychic abilities and make you more energetic.  I don't know about being more energized, because when we got back home, we were so exhausted from all that hiking that we fell into bed and slept almost ten hours, which is something we never do!)

I would have to say that the trip to our local vortex was an adventure that we'll never forget.  It was definitely worth the effort!

Reminder: Be sure and send in any paranormal info you'd like to share on this blog to spiritphotographs@gmail.com .  I'll list your first name, city, and state if I publish whatever you've sent.

Thanks for visiting!
Until next Saturday, Becky
