"The Reason Why the Dump Is So Haunted!"

 Welcome!

In my 2/16/25 blog post, entitled "Two New Spirit Photographs," the second photograph in that post that I feature, shows a cat that lives at a dump. Most of the picture looks washed out, and there is definite ectoplasm to the right of the cat.

Here are two more pictures of the dump, and they also have ectoplasm!-

The first one (above) shows a man adding sticks, onto a large pile of tree limbs, etc. that's already there. Up above where the man is, you can see bits of ectoplasm on the pile.

The second photograph shows the same cat that was in the 2/16/25 blog post. In this photograph, you can easily see the ectoplasm to the left of the cat.

I mentioned in last month's post that I consulted an excellent psychic, that I call Crystal, about some of my spirit photographs that I needed to have interpreted.

I asked Crystal, why this dump was so haunted, and she said, without pausing, that a body had been placed in the dump in the 1930's or the 1940's! The spirit of the mother was looking for the body of her daughter. Crystal sent the spirit of the daughter to the spirit world so that the mother and daughter could be united.

Spirit Gardeners?

 Welcome!

I have something very unusual for you on this blog post! A relative, Lisa, just recently asked what I thought about a poinsettia that she had since she knew that Greg and I were very much into the paranormal.*

She showed me the flower while we were at her house.-

She said that this poinsettia was given to her in December of 2021 by her 102 year old great aunt. What's unusual about this flower is that it still has two leaves from the original bloom! She said that she'd never had one last that long.

Her aunt died a few months ago. Was this plant being tended to by her aunt who is now a spirit gardener?

Another strange incident involving flowers is that one day last year, Greg and I saw one beautiful flower growing by itself in our yard. It was a red petunia. He was surprised to see it since he didn't plant any like it the year before. Where had it come from? He said that his mother had loved petunias and the color red. Was this a sign from his mother that she was still around even though she had passed on a few years ago!

Just because someone has passed on doesn't mean that they cease to exist. Our loved ones continue to care about us and are watching over us even after death.

*Greg and I are connected to the paranormal since we have the gift of taking spirit photographs. Also, besides this blog, I have written a book on the paranormal, "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind," which contains over 100 paranormal photographs which I, Greg, my brother (Nick), and others have taken showing ectoplasm, orbs, shadow ghosts, as well as other paranormal phenomena.

Here is a photo which I took that shows a paranormal grid...

in the mirror above. It is similar to a few of the photographs in my book. The mirror was in Greg's boyhood home which was very haunted as I describe in the book. My childhood home was very haunted, as well.

The book also has a picture of the famous June Tolliver House ghost which was taken by my brother when he was just a schoolboy.

Is Our "New" Old (Circa 1901) House Haunted?

Welcome!

Greg and I just recently moved to a house that we really like, but since it's so old, we wondered if it might be haunted. We've been in our new home now for two months, and we've about concluded that it is, indeed, haunted.

A house that has been around for 118 years would most certainly have at least one spirit or ghost in it!

To provide evidence for my claim, just look at the following photograph that I took during our yard sale earlier this month-

All I did to this photo was crop it off to show the paranormal aspects better, and I also added my watermark.

I cropped it even more in this photo-

Notice the obvious ectoplasm, as well as orbs, on the left side of the photo. Also, notice the antique mirrors leaning against the wall of the house. Each one has a paranormal white line running through it.

About an hour after our yard sale, I heard a loud crash upstairs. I ran up to see what had happened, when our two cats, Kallie and Mitzi, came running out of a room. I wondered what they had done, what they had been up to, but I looked around, and found nothing was amiss. Were our cats running out of the room, not in guilt over something they had done, but in fear?

I finally concluded that the former owner of the house who just recently died, didn't like us selling some of the items in the yard sale that were left at this house that he had previously owned. For example, the large orb in the photo is right above a Christmas tree that is in the white box.

What's more, there are more signs that this house is haunted-
-I took a picture of Mitzi on the stairway, and the part near her and on her were bleached out.
-Kallie often just stares up the stairway at night when no one is up there. What does she see?
-I took pictures of Greg as he was opening his birthday gifts, and ectoplasm showed up in several of the photos.
-A small potted tree on the front porch just fell over on its own; a string that was holding it upright broke. We don't know how that happened since it wasn't even windy that day.

Also, we have a little cabin on our property that's unfinished. It has no electricity or water. One day I was on the porch when I heard a noise come from the inside. How could that be when no one was in there? The door was even locked! It was supposed to have been a workshop, but apparently, the owner died before it was finished.

Our Haunted Cabin (Notice the ectoplasm!)

So, not only is our old house haunted, but our cabin is, as well, and it isn't even old!

All of this is okay with Greg and me since there doesn't seem to be any evil attached to anything that's happened so far. Besides, we're used to living in haunted houses! I tell about our houses as well as other paranormal experiences in my book, "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind." To learn more, please click on the link above.

Is a Woman's Spirit Haunting Her Old House?

Welcome!

I have an intriguing story and photo to share with you on this blog post. Greg and I were visiting with a friend I'll call Sally a few weeks ago, and she let me take a few pictures of her cat so I could practice my pet photography. Her cat was very photogenic, and I got some great photos, but the one on this post is not that great. I would not even have shown it to a regular client. I would have deleted it, except for one small detail; it was paranormal; it had ectoplasm in it.

Sally's Cat With Ectoplasm on Glass

The photo above wasn't the only photo of this cat with ectoplasm. There was more ectoplasm in two other photos, as well. Sally has other cats, and I took a few photos of them, too, but this was the only cat that had ectoplasm in its photos.

Here's the story behind what might be causing the ectoplasm in the cat photos-

A few months ago, Sally moved to this house which had belonged to an old friend of hers, Molly, who had died there in her bedroom. Sally began to notice strange things happening like at least three times, she found the middle bathroom vanity drawer open. It had somehow opened on its own. The bathroom is near the bedroom where Molly had died. Is the spirit of Molly haunting this house?

I guess Molly's spirit has mixed feelings about Sally being in her old house since she liked Sally, but she also had a great dislike of cats, and Sally has five cats who all live in the house! No wonder her spirit is restless!

It would be interesting, however, to find out why she was around this one cat in the photos. She either especially likes or dislikes this cat. I would think she would like it as it's friendly, and very sweet. Maybe since Molly has become a spirit, she's changed her opinion about cats, at least this one!

My sister-in-law Cris shared with me another author that she really likes, John Keel, a prolific writer who has written such books as "Our Haunted Planet" which should be very interesting. Thanks, Cris! (For another paranormal book recommendation by Cris, see my April 23, 2019 post, "Two Haunted Rooms.")

Spirit of a Confederate Soldier?

Welcome!

I have a rather intriguing photo on this post today. I was taking a picture of our blooming pink dogwood tree when this colorful orb, along with a smaller white moving orb showed up in this photograph. I have reason to believe that this photo shows the spirit of a Confederate soldier on the road in front of our house which is pretty unique and somewhat scary, although I should be used to taking this type of photo by now!

Orb Showing the Spirit of a Confederate Soldier?

There are two reasons that I believe this is most likely the ghost of a soldier who fought on the side of the South during the Civil War. First of all, this whole area where Greg and I live was a Confederate  Civil War encampment. I know that this is no doubt true because bullets and other Civil War artifacts have been found in this same area. Also, our neighbor who is very psychic told us one day that she saw a Confederate soldier riding a horse down this street! This orb could very well be the same soldier, or it could even be another one since several soldiers apparently camped here.

You just never know what strange images will show up when you're just trying to take ordinary photos which makes photography so fascinating to me!

Notice carefully the photos you take. Is anything unusual showing up in any of them? If so, I'd be glad to feature them on my blog, with your permission.

Happy photographing!

We Spent the Night at "The (Haunted) Inn at Wise."

Welcome!

As you may know, I have two blogs. Besides "Spirit Photographs," I also have "The Art of Positive Living" blog ( www.theartofpositiveliving.blogspot.com ) which I write and publish the first Sunday of each month unless otherwise stated.

My last blog post, "An Artistic Celebration," on 7/9/18 was about a trip to Southwest Virginia which Greg and I took a couple of weeks ago. On that post, I mentioned that we spent the night at the historic "The Inn at Wise" (which I highly recommend to everyone). For those who are intrigued by the paranormal, I think that you would love this place for it seems to be very haunted!

We arrived at the inn in the wee hours of the morning which is prime time for things that go bump in the night.

Right after we got there, I could hardly wait to start taking pictures because I had heard that this inn was haunted.

Just look at the large orbs, etc. that manifested in this photo!

This is an old inn, and with so many people spending the night here, throughout the years, many things can happen. And it's the same for other inns, hotels, etc. Maybe a spirit liked a place so much in life, that he decided to go back there after death. Of course, tragedies like murders, etc. can occur in some of these places which can trap a spirit or ghost, hence, a place can become haunted.

I also took some pictures inside the old inn.

I took this photo (above) of a common room which is probably used for relaxing, playing games, etc. I had very little idea of what this room looked like before I took the picture since it was in semi-darkness.

I'm glad I did take this photograph since there seems to be quite a bit of ectoplasm here, some of which is very bright which is a hallmark of some ectoplasm.

It's not just my opinion that this inn is haunted, since the people that run the inn say that at least one room has some supernatural things going on in it!

It's room number 337!

There's a plaque on the wall near the door that says, "Room 337 has provided sanctuary to many. One was Lois Tracy who painted here.* Another was fictional journalist Henry Jernigan from Sharyn Mc Crumb's novel 'The Devil Amongst the Lawyers.'"

We didn't know about this haunted room until we got there, and we'd already booked another room. Too bad, maybe next time! Of course, if you'd like to go and try out that room yourself...! Please email me and let me know how it went. Good luck!

FYI

*My grandmother actually took art from Mrs. Tracy many years ago. Also, when I was growing up, my family and I spent the night at an old inn in Asheville, North Carolina that Mrs. Tracy either owned or managed. Bet that inn was haunted as well!

Paranormal News from "Spirit Photographs"

Welcome, and happy New Year!

Today, I'd like to start the new year right with some paranormal news from this blog, "Spirit Photographs."

I hope you had a very merry Christmas.

Below is a photo that someone took of us while we were celebrating the holiday in Nashville.

Notice how blurred Greg and I look, especially Greg's face. It looks as though at least one spirit was having his or her picture taken, too! The amateur photographer who took this photo probably isn't even aware that he's psychic enough to take a spirit photograph!

We really enjoyed "The Twilight Zone" New Year's marathon on Syfy the past few days. We have a DVD with several episodes, but I'd like to have the complete series of 156 episodes which you can get on DVD on Amazon for around $150.00. (I'm saving up my pennies!) Over fifty years later, this quality show is still a favorite of those of us who love the paranormal.

Another quality show, in my opinion, is "Finding Bigfoot" on "Animal Planet." Greg and I can really relate to that show after our scary experience in West Tennessee which I describe in my 9/5/14 and 9/13/14 "Spirit Photographs" blog posts.

The season premier of "Finding Bigfoot" is tomorrow (Sunday, January 3, 2016) at 9/8C. Look for reruns earlier in the day.

A show that my brother recommends is "Ghost Asylum" which is on "Destination America." There are some full episodes you can watch on the Internet if you don't get that channel.

An intriguing book I'm planning to buy is "Do Dead People Watch You Shower?" by Concetta Bertoldi which answers questions that many of us would like to know about the spirit world.

Another Strange Incident

Welcome!

It seems that I'll just be doing normal, everyday things like moving a few things from one room to another when suddenly something strange happens.  That happened to me a few days ago.  I decided to finish getting myself ready for the day in our downstairs bathroom, so I gathered a few items I needed and temporarily lay them on top of a chest, and went back for a couple of more items.  When I got back to my first group of items, I was amazed to see a small container where I keep a few of my earrings, etc. precariously perched on the edge of a white basket.  Although I had only gotten about five hours of sleep the night before, I thought that I surely wasn't that far gone, to have placed the small container the way it was sitting.  I'm always careful, because I hate for stuff to fall on the floor, and I can't imagine placing the container like that.  I asked Greg if he had moved any of my stuff, and he said that he hadn't.

If I didn't do it and Greg didn't do it, then there was only one more explanation, and it wasn't a normal one.-It had to be paranormal!  It seems that the paranormal has become the new norm in our new house.

The room where I'd placed these things does have a haunted piece of furniture in it; I know that as a fact, because a visiting psychic saw the spirit in that very room next to her apparently favorite piece of furniture.  I'm going to tell everything the psychic told us (It's fascinating!) in another paranormal book I'm currently writing.

Anyway, I do believe that this spirit moved the small container to the place I found it sitting.  Why?  Who knows?  Maybe she wanted to let us know that she was still in the house or maybe she just wanted a little excitement or attention.

That's okay.  After my initial shock wore off, it really didn't bother me.  She seems harmless enough.  However, if things things ever stop being harmless, that piece of furniture is out of our house-heirloom or not!
