A Haunted Fall Festival!

On my other blog, "The Art of Positive Living," I recently wrote a post (11/5/17) entitled "Celebrating Fall, Tennessee Style." In that post, I mentioned that Greg and I went to "Pumpkinfest" in Franklin, Tennessee.

Well, on today's post, I have a picture that I took during that same festival, but this photo, unlike the other photos on that "Positive Living" post, has a paranormal twist to it. We might even say that in some respects, according to this photo, this is a haunted fall festival!

Notice the light (ectoplasm) streaming down the front of this building. Also, just to the right of the streaming light, notice the orbs in front of the tree. (I tried to blot out many of the people's faces in this photo for privacy. Otherwise, all I did to this photo was to crop it some, and I added my watermark.)

Spirits seem to like gatherings of people, where there's a lot of energy, and this festival certainly had that with all that was going on there, plus there were a lot of people that attended this festival.

Besides festivals, other places that spirits like to be are parties, family gatherings, schools, and churches, especially if there is something really special going on like a wedding or a funeral. They even haunt graveyards around monuments and memorials honoring them.

Spirits also like to be around objects like memorabilia or something that was important to them while they were alive.

Our loved ones that have passed on like to be around us.

Talented psychic, Justin Chase Mullins, from the Appalachian Mountains of Southwest Virginia says, "The Afterlife is not some far away place in the sky. Rather, our loved ones are very near us. You are surrounded by other dimensions and beings."

From the evidence Greg and I get by taking our paranormal photos, I believe the above quote is very true!

The Importance of Psychics

Welcome!

My last two blog posts have been about psychic ability.  I mentioned that some people are gifted with extraordinary psychic ability.  Some of these people are professionals; they charge clients fees for giving them advice in the form of readings.  These readings can be in person, by phone, by email, or even by mail.

I've been interested in the psychic world ever since I can remember.  When I was just a teenager, I went to my first psychic whom I'd heard about from a classmate.  My mother drove me to the psychic's house about three miles away from where we lived and waited for me in the car.  To get up to the psychic's house, I had to grab onto weeds to help me climb up a steep hill.  The doors to her house were all open, and all I remember about the reading was the fact that chickens kept running in and out of her house while I was there.  That was a memorable adventure to say the least!

Things have come a long way since that day, and I have consulted several psychics which have greatly helped me along my life's journey.  In my opinion, they are better than regular counselors since they have the advantage of psychic insight into any situation.

One of Greg's and my favorite psychics is Bobby Drinnon.  He also has celebrities among his clients.  He is very gifted and  helped guide us for several years.  He told me I had writing talent which surprised me; I had no idea I could write until then.  If I hadn't gotten this advice from him, there would never have been a "Spirit Photographs" blog or a "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind" book.  He is so good that he is booked up for years in advance.  His website is really interesting; he has great insights on life.

When I needed someone to help me interpret my paranormal photos to include in my book, I looked for a psychic who lived near us and was readily available.  I contacted the head of a metaphysical group, and she recommended psychic Elaine Watson.  This talented psychic had an important impact on my life.  She not only did a great job on interpreting my photos, but she also encouraged me to get my book published, because it was "Awesome!"

Just recently, I discovered psychic Justin Chase Mullins, one of the top psychics in the world.  He was one of those featured in the October 2013 "Ghosts of the Gap" event in Big Stone Gap, Virginia which I wrote about in an earlier blog post.  He did an email reading for me in which he urged me to continue with my writing, and said that my next two books would be very successful.

While I'm not endorsing any specific psychics, I just wanted everyone to know that truly gifted psychics like the ones above (all from East Tennessee) can made a positive difference in people's lives.  I know they have Greg's and mine!

In conclusion, whether we visit psychics or tap into our own intuition, psychic ability is to be used for the betterment of our lives.  Why not take advantage of this marvelous gift?

"Ghosts of the Gap" Event

Welcome!

I just wanted you to know that the Saturday, October 26 event, "Ghosts of the Gap," in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, was a great success.  (It was the first of its kind in that region.)  It was so successful that I heard talk that it might even become an annual event! 

I felt lucky to be a part of "Ghosts of the Gap" which was planned and presented by the Black Mountain Paranormal Society and the volunteers at the June Tolliver House and the John Fox, Jr. Museum.  They all did an outstanding job.

In a few words and pictures, I'd like to share part of the "Ghosts of the Gap" event with you.

This is the John Fox, Jr. Museum where psychic Justin Chase Mullins held a gallery reading.

The June Tolliver House was ready for this spooktacular event!

The Black Mountain Paranormal Society gave ghost tours of both the Fox house and the Tolliver House.

There was a gifted tarot card reader in the John Fox, Jr. room who did a reading for Greg and several other people.

I gave a little presentation about the haunted June Tolliver House which is featured in a chapter of my new book, "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind."

This is an old newspaper clipping which tells about my brother Nick's June Tolliver House ghost picture which I sent to a local newspaper in 1978.  This photo is featured in my book.

I demonstrated taking a paranormal photo to the participants who came through the house.
