Welcome!
This blog post will be shorter than usual since I'm working on my book about Appalachia which I need to give to the publisher soon.
I have something pretty interesting to share with you today, though. At least one strange thing seems to show up at least once a month for Greg or me, either in our photos, or something else paranormal will manifest.
This post is about something paranormal manifesting a few weeks ago.
Here's what happened-
As I was walking through our memorabilia room upstairs-
several of the objects which are in this photograph simply fell over on their own. I hadn't jarred the floor, and I hadn't even been close to the display table. I felt terrified, and I started to leave the room, but then I turned and said in a loud voice that I would not be intimidated, so I bravely and carefully put all of the fallen objects back into place, and then I quickly left the room.
Later, I wondered if it could be family members that were trying to communicate with me since this table held memorabilia from my side of the family. Also, I happened to remember something very similar happened in this same room that I wrote about in another "Spirit Photographs" blog post on Friday, December 27, 2024, entitled, "A Christmastime Paranormal Incident." If you haven't seen it, you might want to check it out.
I talked to a psychic about this latest incident, and she said that it was just Daddy saying "Hi!" from the spirit world. Also, he sent a big hug, and said that he was really happy for Greg and me, because our marriage is so good, and that he really likes Greg. Daddy's brother was with him. She described him as tall and thin, and that he was laughing at my reaction in the memorabilia room. She said that he was a cut-up. She said that they liked to hang out together.
I felt really good after her reading, to know the truth of what happened that day. I can understand why they were attracted to our memorabilia room with all of the things that are in there.
In the photo above, there's a photograph of Daddy when he was a boy, and also his plans for the backdrop for "The Trail of the Lonesome Pine" outdoor drama, along with other souvenirs, etc. from the drama.
Next month, I'll briefly tell about my new book about Appalachia. One of the chapters in my book is entitled "Haunted Appalachia."
In the meantime, you might want to check out my Kindle eBook, "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind." For more information, please see the widget above.
Thanks for visiting! Until around Saturday, June 20, 2026, Becky
