Paranormal Activity

Welcome!

The third Saturday of every month, I write about paranormal activity on this "Spirit Photographs" blog. Thankfully, I don't have to wring my hands and rack my brain trying to figure out what to write about since there always seems to be plenty of paranormal activity going on around Greg and me to discuss!

This blog post is no exception...

First of all, Greg and I really enjoy going to various parks in the summer. Just a few weeks ago, we went to Chickasaw Trace Park which is close to where we live. We took several photos as we usually do whenever we go somewhere.

No matter where I took pictures in the park, ectoplasm kept showing up in my photos. This same phenomenon occurred once before when we took pictures there.

                                                     Haunted? Chickasaw Trace Park

What is the cause of the ectoplasm in the photos in this park? Is it because of the Native Americans who passed on, or is it the spirits of animals, fish, and birds? Does the sheer beauty of this place cause many spirits to be attracted to it?

Greg and I have the ability to take paranormal photos, but we don't have the ability to interpret them. I discuss this in my book, "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind" which has around 100 paranormal photos mostly taken by Greg and me. (It's available on both "Amazon" and "FastPencil.")

Also, there are a couple of other strange things that have occurred the past few weeks-

Greg was by himself at work one evening, and while he was in the break room, he suddenly heard an unusual loud noise. It sounded as if someone had thrown a large rubber mat on the floor right behind him. He looked around the whole area to see what might have caused the noise, and no one was there, and nothing had moved as far as he could tell! He wasn't very surprised as he and other people have seen and heard weird things there at work several times before.

Greg has a good idea on why the place where he works might be haunted. The building there is on the  battlefield of one of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War!

A few days ago, it was my mother's birthday. Although she passed on two years ago, I took time to speak to her spirit, to wish her a happy birthday and to send her our love.

I didn't think any more about it, and I started doing some chores. I was heating up some food in the oven, and I set the timer for six minutes. I started working on something else, and in a few minutes, I wondered why the timer hadn't gone off. I looked at the timer to see what was going on, and it was on 0709, my mother's birth date! I guess that was her way of saying she had heard me, and that she appreciated our birthday wishes. It made me feel happy and reassured.

All paranormal activity need not be scary because it's actually normal occurrences that we just don't fully understand. It's a mystery yet to be solved. That's why the paranormal is so totally intriguing!
