Radio Show Follow-up

Welcome!

I wanted to tie up some loose ends with a follow-up of a radio show that I was on this past Monday.  (Please see my 11/21/14 blog post for more info.)  On this show, I was interviewed about my book, "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind."

I was asked during the interview about paranormal grids which I feature in my book.  I responded that grids were white and dark vertical and horizontal lines that appeared in many of my photographs, mainly in old mirrors.  They are supposed to be messages from beyond.  I am continuing my research, to find out more about these mysterious grids.  I asked listeners to email me if they had any further information for me about the grids.  So far, no one has responded.

Also, during the radio show, I bragged that things had considerably quietened down at our house paranormal-wise, but I spoke too soon, as the very night of the interview and also two nights later, Greg and I again both heard the same other-worldly sound we'd heard a few times before in our bedroom, in fact, the last time we heard it, Greg was in the hallway, starting to come into the bedroom, and I was in bed.  The best way I can describe this noise is that of the strum of an electric harp or maybe the sound of a radio not quite tuned in.  Greg thought it sounded like a pop.  Anyway, it's a very quick sound which makes it even harder to identify, or to even know the direction from which it's  coming!  (I've written about this sound before in an earlier blog post.  Please see my 9/27/14 post.)

This is the area of our bedroom from which I believe the strange sound comes.  However, Greg thinks it's coming from our closet.

What I'll probably end up doing, is to call one of my favorite psychics next week about both the grids and the mysterious sound.  She's very good at describing the hidden meaning of things.

Paranormal Odds and Ends

Welcome!

On this blog post, I have some paranormal odds and ends to share with you.

First of all, I'd like to thank a loyal reader from Tennessee who responded to my request to email me, to help solve the mystery of the mystery photo on my October 31, 2014 blog post.  In this picture, taken by my husband, Greg, there is a ray of light shining down from the sky directly behind me, as well as on me.  My face even looks a little obscured, as well (which is not altogether a bad thing!).  Anyway, this reader said she thought that "the park bench picture captured a glimpse of the Light of God's Perfect Love, shining down upon you."  That's so beautifully said!  Thank you so much, Patricia.  Who knows?  She very well could be right.  I feel like this is a very spiritual photo.

I'll have this photograph in my next paranormal book when I'll expound on it further.

If anyone else has any more comments pertaining to that photo or about anything else paranormal, please email me with those, as well at: spiritphotographs@gmail.com.

Greg and I had something funny happen this past week.  I was sitting at the computer when all of a sudden, I heard a high-pitched noise that I couldn't identify or find out where it was coming from.  I called to Greg who was downstairs, and he couldn't figure it out either.  We went all through he house, but we couldn't pinpoint what it was or where it was coming from.  Suddenly, Greg said that he thought I must be causing it, for the noise was wherever I happened to be.  We both thought it had to be in the realm of the paranormal.  Finally, when we had about given up hope, and had resigned ourselves to the the fact that we'd have to wear earmuffs to bed every night if we wanted to get any sleep, we heard a warped alarm-type sound.  I checked my pocket and found the timer I had placed in it about an hour earlier.  The timer had been making the weird sound that whole time just because its battery needed changing.  It was a relief knowing that I wasn't haunted after all!  The paranormal does sometimes have its humorous side which I also tell about in my book, "Photographic Encounters of the Spirit Kind."

Tomorrow (Sunday, November 16, 2014), "Finding Bigfoot" is on "Animal Planet" at 10:00 P. M. Eastern Time.  On this episode, the investigators are in Idaho.  There's a preview on the "Animal Planet" website.  ("Finding Bigfoot" is also on earlier in the day and at 11:00 P.M. in reruns.)

We really like this show since we think we had a close encounter with a Bigfoot in Tennessee earlier this year.  Check out my previous blog posts ( 9/5/14 and 9/13/14) about this incident if you haven't already.

Paranormal or Not?

Welcome!

Sometimes things happen that seem strange, but it's not always clear if they are paranormal or not.

For instance, something in your house may not be sitting in the spot where it's usually sitting, so you wonder if someone else in the house moved it or was it moved by some paranormal means?

That happened at our house a few months ago.  One day, when I went into our guest room, I noticed that our love seat had moved about six inches to the right from where it had been sitting.  I asked Greg if he had moved it, and he said he had not.  I knew I hadn't moved it, but why was it not where it usually sits?  Then, it suddenly dawned on me-the night before, I was awakened by a loud noise which seemed to have come from across the hall where the guest room is!  (That night, I had quickly looked out into the hall and in the guest room, but saw nothing and went back to bed.)  Finally, I put two and two together and decided that apparently the love seat had been moved by paranormal means.  Now, that's scary (especially since I was having to spend the night by myself due to Greg's work schedule at that time), and paranormal!

Another strange incident happened with our television.  I was eagerly anticipating watching my favorite TV show.  I turned on the TV a few minutes early, and everything was fine.  However, when my show came on, there was absolutely no sound!  When the show went off, the sound went back on!  I couldn't believe it!  For two more weeks, the same thing happened.  I felt really paranoid about this, and in light of some of the stuff that had been going on here in the past, I blamed any mischievous spirits which might have been playing a cruel joke on me.  Finally, however, the next time that happened, I called our cable provider and the network, and I found out the same thing had been happening to others, and that it was just a technical glitch which they told me how to fix.

This is a scene from my favorite TV show, "Keeping Up Appearances."  (Although I'm really into the  paranormal and love shows such as "Ghost Hunters," "Finding Bigfoot," and "The Twilight Zone," I'm afraid Hyacinth Bucket and her hilarious antics wins first place from me.)

I am now a happy camper, but decided I'm just going to buy the complete series on DVD so I can watch it whenever I feel like it and not to be at the mercy of any more technical glitches.  (I hope!)

But, my point here is that I had jumped to the wrong conclusion, that this was a paranormal incident when it was not.

Thankfully, things do seem to be going better here at our house, now, except we did hear a strange noise few weeks ago.  Greg and I were nearly asleep in our bedroom, when we heard the very same weird, loud noise that I wrote about in my September 27, 2014 blog post, entitled "Living in a Haunted House."  I'm glad Greg finally got to hear it, but he was like me, he could not identify what the noise was because he had never heard anything like it before either!  In other words, it was what you might call an other-worldly sound!

Have a great week!
